I have already seen many beautiful wedding locations. However, I am particularly fond of Gut Sonnenhausen in Glonn. The large courtyard for the reception, planted with beautiful flowers and decorated with great attention to detail, the chic fireplace room, which is perfect for getting the bride ready, the enchanted orchard, which offers a unique ambience for the free wedding ceremony, the great halls, that invite you to eat and celebrate and of course the breathtaking, surrounding nature – shooting locations everywhere.
With a lot of peace and quiet, good music, her girls and a glass of champagne, the beautiful bride got ready in the fireplace room. Everyone in the room felt that this day was going to be a very special one. When the dress was on and we all had wet eyes from her really breathtaking look, the time had come, not only were the bride’s parents allowed to see her in her dress for the first time, Caro and Basti also agreed to meet before their free wedding to meet for the first time to see. Let the first look begin.
Moments of speechlessness followed and also for me it is always something very special when I am allowed to capture how the bride and her groom see each other for the first time. We decided to split the bridal couple shoot into two parts. The first part directly after the first look, so that we could take the excitement and beams of joy straight to the photos. We shot the second part in the evening, just before sunset. It was important to me that we once again bring the most beautiful light onto the photos – and that was more than successful.
The guests were slowly arriving and it was time to come to the orchard for the free wedding ceremony. There was a lot of laughter during the ceremony, but also some (happy) tears. I love it when it gets so beautifully emotional.
The sun was shining, the children were playing and the newlyweds enjoyed the gathering of their families and friends. The day couldn’t have been more beautiful. Shortly before the evening program began, we took some time for group photos. Group photos that touch the heart.
The musicians started the evening and it continued with speeches that touched the heart and food that made simply happy. And a party that was unforgettable.
